Ibrahim’s hairdressing career started when he was 15 years old in his brother’s barber shop in Syria. This setting was an accelerated learning environment about hair which turned a job into a career and passion, where he became fascinated with hair and the endless possibilities. In fact, Ibrahim’s entire career has not only been dedicated to honing his master hairdressing skills but experiencing the diversity the world has to offer: different personalities, cultures, countries and hair types.
After working as a barber for a few years, Ibrahim moved to Dubai to work in a five star hotel where he had the great pleasure of working with celebrities from all over the world and working with a diverse range of people. Five years later, travels took him to Argentina where he opened his own hair salon and worked as a business owner and learned about the Latino culture. Fast forward to 2018 and the travel bug landed Ibrahim in Singapore where he gained an understanding of Asian hair and Asian culture.
Now calling Sydney home, we are fortunate to be able to call upon Ibrahim’s international work experience, his wealth of experience working with multiple hair types and textures to service the culturally and socially diverse customers of Lily Jackson Hairdressing.
