Introducing the new freehand lightening technique called Freelights from Wella Professional
This next-level balayage style has taken the world by storm and is set to be the hottest hair trend for Australia this summer.
Wella Professional Freelights is gentler on hair than traditional lighteners used in the foil technique, resulting in beautifully nourished and conditioned colour. Unlike conventional lighteners, the innovative formula contains polymers, which form an adhesion to the hair it is applied to so that it won’t run or bleed onto other parts of the hair once applied. The product is applied freehand using the balayage technique by painting it directly onto the hair, making the whole process alot faster.
The result is a luscious colour that has a multi-dimensional, naturally sun-kissed feel. This is difficult to obtain when using conventional powder lighteners that are used for strategically placed highlights as they leave behind solid lines in the regrowth.
After shampooing the product off, a toner is applied to blend all the colours together. To ensure the longevity of the colour and to maintain the condition of your hair it is recommended that you follow proper home hair care maintenance. At Lily Jackson Hair & Make Up we offer a variety of salon-only hair care ranges so you are assured of maintaining your beautiful hair at home. We’ll give you a recommendation after your service.
Because the regrowth is subtle, it makes this style of hair colour very low maintenance. Think of your stylist like an artist, painting on colour to bring out the best in your hair and your features to unleash a summer colour that looks like it’s been created in the sun, not the salon. Sounds great right?!
